The Curriculum Map template provides a flexible framework for teachers to organize instruction across any subject, with customizable sections for topics, standards, assessments, and activities throughout the academic year.

Step 1: Create a Subject

To begin organizing your curriculum, start by creating a subject:

• Click the "New Subject" button in the Subjects database
• Enter a name for your subject (e.g., "Mathematics", "World History", "Biology")

Step 2: Create Topics

Once you've created a subject, you can start adding topics:

• An empty topic will be automatically created when you add a new subject

  

• Fill in the topic details, including:

  • Standards: Align your topic with relevant educational standards
  • Assessments: Plan how you'll evaluate student understanding
  • Activities: Outline engaging learning experiences for students

  

• Create additional topics by clicking the "New Page" button within your subject

  

Step 3: Plan Your Curriculum

Organize and refine your curriculum structure:

• Continue creating topics to cover your entire subject curriculum

• Use drag-and-drop functionality to arrange topics in a logical sequence

  

• Switch between the Map view for a visual timeline and the Table view for a comprehensive overview

  

Step 4: Track Your Planning Progress

Keep your curriculum planning organized by updating the status of each topic:

• Each topic has a "Status" property that can be set to "Not Started", or "Planned"

• As you develop your curriculum, change the status of each topic to "Planned"

• This allows you to easily track which topics you've planned and which still need attention
